Dragon Wars (D-War)

Our Review
This is one of those films that seems to come out of nowhere and make a huge impact.

You would think that a large budget, dragon based film would be all over the place, but only after its release had i even heard about it.

I did not expect much when I first decided to watch it, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Ok lets not pull punches though, the acting is terrible, the plot is dodgy to say the least, but this films saving grace is the awesome special effects.

Even after watching it I couldn't tell you the plot any more than to say that there are a man and a woman supposedly reincarnated from some legend, and there is a giant serpant chasing after the woman.

Does anyone really watch a film like this for the plot though? no didn't think so.

So truly mindblowing special effects, lots of great Godzilla style demolishing, and a screwy American ending, so what more could you ask?

A simple 90 minute FX romp, go to the cinema, enjoy the special affects and then forget about it.

A firebreathing 7/10
